In this research, it is aimed to define with the Attitude Towards Technology which is adapted by Yurdugül and Aşkar (2008) if the refugee students have meaningful differences in their attitude for technology according to demographic variables such as age, gender, who continue their education in Tokat city center. For this purpose, survey method is used to research the process of the attitudes for technology of the refugee students. Survey is the research approach that aims to define the situation as it is which is in the past or still exists (Karasar, 2000). In this survey, Attitude Towards Technology which is adapted by Yurdugül and Aşkar (2008), with using purposeful sampling technique is applied to 200 students who are between the age of 10-13 and study in four primary and secondary school which have the most refugee students of medium socio-economic class in Tokat city center (Nfemale=96, Nmale=104). When the results are analyzed, students’ attitudes for technology have no meaningful dıfferences according to gender (p=,489) and age (p=,398); but the meaningful differences are found for the benefit of refugee students when it is analyzed according to nationality (p=,000). In the literature, there are researches which have no meaningful differences both gender (Gerçek etc., 2006; Shapka and Ferrari, 2003; Çetin, Çalışkan and Menzi, 2012; Çetin and Güngör, 2014) and age (Gerçek etc., 2006; Çetin and Güngör, 2014) and have similar nature with the results of performed survey which try to define the attitudes for technology. According to the results, digital division and digital poverty can be shown as the main reasons of the meaningful differences because of nationality. Digital division that shows us the difference between the people who can or cannot get the new information technology; effect the technology with the several social or demographic factor and bring also digital poverty. Consequently, it is an expected situation that they have positive attitudes for technology when it is thought that the refugee students who left their country, experienced the digital division and digital poverty.
